Waitin' for the Night is the third studio album by American hard rock band the Runaways, released on October 17, 1977, through Mercury. The album was recorded without Cherie Currie, who left the group prior to its release, with rhythm guitarist Joan Jett taking over lead vocals as the band continued as a quartet. Though it failed to chart in the US, it was successful in Europe.
