Peter Sarstedt's self-titled album was released in 1969 and reached number eight on the British charts. The album version of "Where Do You Go To (My Lovely)" is longer than the single, featuring extra stanzas beginning "You go to the embassy parties ..." and "You're in between twenty and thirty....". The recording was produced by Ray Singer and engineered by John Mackswith at Lansdowne Recording Studios.
